A wireless tracker thin enough to sit under a floor mat, behind a panel or inside a package, and left there for years. No wiring, no charging and no installer - it is placed, not fitted. When the asset moves, it wakes and reports.
At 11.6 mm the case slides under a floor mat, beneath a seat, behind a trim panel or into a carton. Nothing protrudes and nothing needs mounting, so there is no obvious box for anyone to find and remove.
An 8 µA deep-sleep current and a 5000 mAh cell give five years on one GPS position a day - no charging visit, no service call, no battery run flat halfway through a season.
A built-in motion sensor brings the unit out of deep sleep as soon as the asset is moved and starts reporting straight away, rather than waiting for the next scheduled report. A theft is not discovered tomorrow.
The compartment opens without tools and the cell drops in. Across a large deployment that is the difference between a battery change and a return to depot, so the unit stays where it was placed for its whole working life.
A low battery alarm is raised while there is still charge in hand, so a replacement is scheduled rather than discovered - and no asset goes quiet without warning.
The case is rated IP54 - protected against dust and splashing, not against immersion or driven rain - and the operating range is −10 °C to +45 °C. It is intended for concealed placement inside a vehicle, a container, a package or a machine, rather than exposed mounting outdoors.

Real life depends on signal strength and temperature - a unit in weak coverage spends longer with its radio on and will not reach that. Not exposed. It is rated IP54 and −10 °C to +45 °C, so it belongs inside something - a container, a toolbox, a cab, a machine housing. For an exposed outdoor asset through a Canadian winter, ask us for a sealed unit instead and we will quote the right one.
