When a customer questions an invoice, geofence reports show when your trucks arrived, when they left and how many hours you spent on site, even months later.
Sooner or later a customer questions an invoice. Were you really there? How long did the job take? Without a record, it is your word against theirs.
A geofence is a boundary you draw on the map around a location. What most people don't expect is that you can draw one today and run a report for the past.
Say a customer questions work from three months ago. You didn't have a geofence around their site back then. You can set one up now, run the report for those dates, and it will show when your vehicles got there and when they left.
The report also shows how many trucks attended. If three trucks went to a site at different times on different days, you can show the arrival and departure for each visit and the total. For example: between the three trucks, we spent 42 hours on site, and here is when each one arrived and left.
The same record answers the customer who says nobody showed up. It proves your employee was exactly where they were supposed to be, when they were supposed to be there.
Bill a full day's work with proof, even though nobody watched it happen.
Take the 4pm call, because you know who is closest.
